In recent times, local farms have been undermined by  the global industrial food system. Join us in supporting our local farmers and food producers. Let’s rebuild a more sustainable way to eat.

Please send an email to Chad at growlocalgwl@gmail.com with your suggestions and ideas. As the growing season progresses, we are going to need growers and consumers to help make this guide and map as accurate as possible.

• Subscribe to our mailing list so that you can receive updates about this and our other projects.  

• Talk with your friends and neighbors about the Local Growers Guide and encourage them to buy locally.  

• Join our committee. (We meet via Zoom)

• Spread the word that fresh, local farm products have greater value than weary wholesale items that have been grown far away, shipped and warehoused and finally trucked to a local supermarket. It’s estimated that the annual additional price of buying local is less than $100 per person, per year.
