The “forever” chemicals, PFAS and PFOA, have been much in the news lately. These chemicals, hazardous to human and animal health and the environment, have been found widely around the world, including in New York State.
“The Forever Chemicals”, a film (26 minutes) produced by Detroit PBS, tells the story of communities and individuals in Michigan impacted by PFAS.
The film will be shown at the Albert Wisner Library. A presentation afterward by Sustainable Warwick includes what governments and individuals can do. Register here.
