In celebration of the Warwick Valley local harvest, please join us in this fundraiser to benefit WAMC*

* The Warwick Area Migrant Committee has been helping farmworkers & their families since 1959.

Sustainable Warwick and Grow Local Greenwood Lake joined forces this summer to celebrate eating our local harvest. We also wanted to support local farm worker families in this time of COVID-19. Sustainable Warwick will donate $20 to the Warwick Area Migrant Committee for each photograph submitted of locally grown food, local farmers, farm workers, farm stands and other local food outlets. Sustainable Warwick has pledged $1,250 to this effort.

We have invited people to post food photographs on either the Sustainable Warwick or Grow Local Greenwood Lake Facebook pages. From the outpouring of submissions, it looks like people enjoyed sharing their food photos!

The Warwick Area Migrant Committee, also known as the Alamo, provides summer enrichment programs for children of migrant workers and continues to distribute 500 meals each week to migrant farm workers and their families. Please visit the WAMC website for more information and, if you prefer, to make a donation to them directly. This has been a tough season for fundraising, so we urge all to contribute what you can.

Submit your pictures to Sustainable Warwick and/or Grow Local Greenwood Lake on Facebook by mid-September.  If you prefer, send us an email with your photo attached.  Thank you, in advance, for your generous donations to WAMC.
